Campground Policies
- Frowns are not allowed! If you have one, leave it at the dump station and pick it up when you leave.
- Emergency messages will be delivered to your site by carrier chicken. Otherwise check message board outside of the office for your messages.
- Please respect the Shower and Laundry facilities. We have made them nice for you. Please, no dish washing or hand laundering in the sinks or showers.
- Unfortunately, some unlucky person in your party will have to take the trash to the dumpster. If you're alone, it's you!
- Just a reminder: Call your mother-in-law and the boss!
- Motorcycles are for transportation only. No "wheelies" or "donuts" even though you are an expert! No 3 or 4 wheeler or go-karts allowed.
- Fires only allowed in charcoal grills. The Volunteer Fire Department gets a little testy when they have to leave the comfort of their homes to stomp out your campfire.
- All fireworks and firearms are prohibited.
- If you run your generator all night you will have a cranky neighbor in the morning!
- No clotheslines. Your neighbor may want to enjoy the view of Pike's Peak.
- No car or RV washing. We will be more than happy to direct you to a convenient wash station in Castle Rock. No vehicle repairs on site.
- Your neighbor has to quit swimming by 8:00PM, and they should be quiet by 10:00PM so you can get some shut eye.
- In the morning, between 8:00AM and 10:00AM, we're gonna make the pool water taste funny and vacuum it for diamonds, gold and any other good stuff we might find!
- All kids under 18 take an adult to the pool with you. Your parents like to feel needed, and it gives them another chance to yell at you!
- Check out is 11:00AM. If you want to extend your stay, please advise the office.
- The train tracks you crossed when entering the park do carry trains. They do not have any set schedule, but they do own the tracks and can use them anytime they wish.
Pet Etiquette
Pets are welcome in the campground as long as they are monitored, cleaned up after and kept on a leash. Unlike most RV Parks, we also offer a new "Bark Park" which affords your dogs a place to romp and play "off the leash". They’ll enjoy the new doggie obstacle course too! Look for "The Dog House" section in our camp store for toys, treats, and unique gifts for your special canine friends. No pets are to be left outside unattended. No barking dogs! For the health and comfort of all of our guests, we do not allow pets in our cabins and lodges. Thank you for your understanding.
